So, I tried to get up earlier on Friday to get my badge sooner and see more shit. I grabbed my $8 coffee and Rick & I got in line.
The line was still from hell.
These people were awesome:

I attended a few panels – the Neil Gaiman Coraline one was pretty amazing. I believe the big spoiler was that Henry Selick told Neil Gaiman that he wanted to do Sandman as stop motion. SWEET!
Caught a bitchin’ panel on underground comix, Denis Kitchen was there and Lee Marrs told me she liked my hat! I got a card that will get me a limited edition Pudge Girl Blimp drawing when I email her my address.
Since I have no idea where my old autographed Pinhead photo disappeared to, I went ahead and picked up a new one… and had my picture taken with Doug Bradley. Awwwwwww, me and Pinhead!

Fat Momma from Who Wants to be a Superhero was in the booth next to him.

Then I went to the Amanda Palmer drawing thing. I am totally scared of her fans. They’re rabid like Tori Amos fans. (Bad experience with a little entitlement whore putting on a very affected speech pattern and trying to cut in line. I had to do a little Schruting.) Ugh.
Once I got in, it was all good. Miss Palmer did some kick ass poses & the panel drew her. I honestly did more source photo shit than drawing. I just used my sketchpad to get down little details like the way her boots laced, since I wasn’t sure I’d get that kinda stuff with the photos from where I was sitting.

Then I think I just farted around looking at shit & collecting free garbage I’m just going to throw out (Except the giant Watchmen bag! Unf!) until it was time for the fearnet panel that was supposed to have Clive Barker in it. Well… Clive got caught in traffic from L.A. so all we had to start was Robert Englund. That’s cool.

The panel had that one scary guy & the pretty girl from the Halloween remake.

WOOT! Then Clive showed up!
OMG – the CUTEST thing in the whole world – Robert Englund & Clive Barker together!

Caught up with Rick after that & thought about trying to get across downtown to the Brain Posehn show, but were lazy & went to the movie room to watch the movie Push instead. That was a really cool little flick – if you haven’t seen it, do so.
Then it was back to the hotel & chips + m&ms in the con suite. NERD FOOD! Went to bed early-ish because tomorrow was the big day – the day I would try to meet Clive Barker.
Weirdos:

What is the movie Snake Eyes made of? Why FAIL, of course!

Yes – that’s a FUCKING MOUTH! What a suckfest.
Okay, that’s enough bloggy for tonight… maybe tomorrow I’ll recap my Saturday. You know, the day that David Tennant tells me things in the elevator.
