Also, I am completely in love with playing L4D online with my WoW guildmates! Holy shit, it’s a LOT more fun than doing those damn WoW RenFair dailies!
I thought L4D was fun enough by itself, but playing with other people is pretty fuckin’ awesome. Of course I was playing with two of the people in my WoW guild that I actually really like, so that may make a difference.
I killed a LOT of zombies last night. And then I had dreams about the zombie apocalypse on top of that. What a wonderful night. Must do again soon.

No adaptation of anything as awesome as Watchmen is going to be perfect…. but yes, it was as good as it could have been!
The characters were awesome, they cut out stuff pretty nicely to make it fit the time allotted and the end sans squid thing actually worked. Go see it. I mean NOW. I think we might go see it again this weekend.
Every nerd in Reno was in the theater and we made new nerd friends. 
Probably should have gotten some phone numbers or something though – lol.

Yes, that is a happy girl holding her Fandango print-at-home tickets for the 12:01am showing of Watchmen. Good old Fandango, you never let me down. We’ve even taken personal days on Friday so we can go see it again.

The lights went down, the film began, and after just a few minutes, my apprehension was gone. I knew after the Comedian hit the street that this was going to be everything I’d hoped for. For the next two hours and forty-five minutes, I gasped, I cheered, I applauded, I was stunned and I was blown away. Most importantly, though, I was transported to the world I first visited, one issue at a time, when I was a teenager. When it was over, I wanted to go right back to the beginning and start over again, just like I did when I finished the graphic novel back in the 80s.
