Possibly the best cooking show ever.
Just ignore the possibility of salmonella.
They might as well just send all the white girls home now.
The light skinned girl with the hair will become annoying, but can still sing.
Fantasia clone is pretty good. Not Fantasia good, but still good.
Chubby 17 year old is beautiful and can sing wonderfully.
The girl with the huge head & no neck is awesome.
But that little dumpy girl with the ginormous boobies? GOD DAMN! She’s definitely one of the best female singers to be on the stupid show. I hope she doesn’t get voted off because of the way she looks.
Fat jesus kid and beatbox guy FTW!
Seriously… can we just kick all the other guys off now?
Especially Sundance Head.
I swear I’ve known that guy. And I swear he’s annoyed me before.
Okay, maybe the little gay Indian boy can stay for awhile. And the really happy cute black guy.
Back from Santa Cruz. It was awesome!
I do have a bunch of pics and videos to get posted, but I still need to reinstall all my Adobe products after the lovely dirtnap my computer took last week. Needed a new motherboard/cpu. Ugh. Rick bought them for me!
He also got me a snazzy new 250gb hardrive so WoW will never absorb my computer again!
Anyway.
Santa Cruz is full of hippies and hipsters. But it still manages to be a cool little town. The comic book shops are REAL comic book shops. I spent too much money at them.
It was also kind of amusing to be driving down the street at 8am on a Sunday morning and see an old hippie just firing up his pipe in front of his house.
I finally saw the Pacific ocean. It made me wet. No, really. It made me wet.
I took a fuckton of pictures of sea lions too. And seagulls. I have no idea why I take pictures of the damn things, but whenever I see a seagull up close, I just have to take a picture.
No pelicans or whales this time, but we are planning on going back sometime. It’s just a 4.5 hour drive and not a very hard drive at that.
RAW memorial was pretty awesome. A whole ballroom thingy full of weirdos. It felt very comfortable.
Of course Xana & Lefty really added to the whole comfortable-ness thing. ![]()
Yes, I saw my Xana & finally met the Great and Terrible. Who is just as awesome as I imagined he’d be.
AND I got to see Fox and FINALLY meet Autumn after… uh… like 7 years of being “online friends”!
That was pretty sweet. It was a puppet that said it.
Busey was glad to see us. I guess he was pretty good at the boarder. He actually stepped up for the staff.
When we got home he had a shower with Rick and then had to sit on my finger and say everything he knew for me.
He was very tired and told me it was time to “get ready for beddie byes” an hour earlier than usual.
Speaking of. I think I need to wash the road off me and get my ass to bed as well. Pictures tomorrow probably.
If passed by Washington voters, the Defense of Marriage Initiative would:
Since I couldn’t help but look at the spoilers…
Word is Castro Boy (Sean Michel) didn’t make it to the top 24 in AI this year.
If course I did a little research and found out he’s more OMG JESUS than the fat kid.
Like all sorta Jesus.
I guess he’s not a socialist. At first I thought Militia, since the religion usually goes with the lifestyle, but maybe not.
I suppose someone who sings about how Jesus will “rescue mankind from Satan’s grip” and “his wounds have paid my ransom” probably isn’t the best choice for a show that makes them into an “idol”. LOL.
Sucks, because I love that boy’s voice.
I really don’t know if “Sundance” and the fat kid will keep me watching this year. Maybe someone else good will turn up.
Okay, the tickets are purchased. The hotel is booked. Busey has boarding reservations.
(Which is gonna be the hardest part about the trip! Baby’s first nights away from us. *sigh*)
We’ll be leaving Saturday afternoon & getting into Santa Cruz that evening. We might shoot for earlier in order to check out the three comic shops we found in Santa Cruz.
So – for folks attending – we’ll be open to do stuff Saturday night if anyone else is coming in that night.
Also, we’d probably be up for breakfast/lunch on Sunday before the memorial.
And, of course, anything fun to do Sunday night.
I do believe that a high priority on my agenda is to take some pictures of sea lions. I would love to get some pics of the whales as well, but I don’t know if it’s migration season or not.
I think we’ll probably head back to Reno Monday around noonish.
I don’t even know who will be there, but I’m assuming I’ll get to see my Xana (<3) and probably Fox and Autumn. Hopefully the Great and Terrible will be there as well. I know he’ll have some good eating suggestions.
I will be bringing a camera and maybe my fire eating stuff if I can find it. It’ll just be the Mavica though – I opted out on the DSLR in favor of my Jeep.
Oh, and even though it’s a sweet ass ride and has Discordian stickers on it, we’ll be taking Rick’s car for the better gas milage. We is practical.
Our hotel is across the parking lot from the Cocoanut Grove. Email me if you want our cell phone number.
