OMG we were social tonight. We went to eat at the ginormous food place with Omar & Alison. It was a lot of food and some very nice stimulating conversation. Then we all went to Borders and got coffee and scattered throughout the store.
I looked all over & even used the computer but couldn’t find the book I wanted even though it said it was in stock.
It’s called Wastelands: Stories of the Apocalypse and it looks like something I’d really like to read. Bunch o’ post-apocalyptic short stories by some pretty nifty authors. I considered ordering it from Amazon, but the estimated shipping time was 3-6 weeks.
I even asked D&D guy to help me find it and he couldn’t find it either.
I suppose I’ll have to be content with A Canticle for Leibowitz and Rick’s copy of Lucifer’s Hammer for now.
I ended up getting a book on beekeeping because I will have a hive when we get our house. But no chickens.
Because my bees will kick Haley’s chicken’s asses.
I haven’t posted any pictures of the kids lately.
Here they are!

Kirby on the left, Busey on the right.
Kirby is a Derbyan who will be one year old on April 21st and Busey is an Indian Ringneck who will be three years old on April 24th.
Some superbowl ad showing a guy almost running over Richard Simmons is being labeled anti-gay?
Okay, I hate homophobia. Hate it and hate homophobes.
I, in no way, think this commercial is anti-gay.
It’s anti-Richard Simmons.
There’s a difference.
