We had to get milk and eat lunch today.

So… we killed two birds with one stone & did the Whole Foods food bar thing.

OMG!  DEEELICIOUS!

I had Indian & Greek with a nice salad.  Rick had Indian with a salad as well.  It was more expensive than Carl’s Jr., but less expensive than like Chili’s or something like that.   And it was pretty damn healthy with LOTS of choices.  Definitely will be a regular lunch choice.

Then we got milk and forbidden rice.

The REAL Shawshank Redemption.

After going to the bookstore tonight I realized that it’s probably time to upgrade my old huge clunky cellphone for something with a camera.

I think it was the old people sleeping in the chairs at the back of the store and the weird guy with the orthopedic shoes, pants pulled up to his armpits and skintight shirt reading “depression for dummies” while holding the book two inches from his face that did it for me.

I also would have liked to get a picture of the gardening section that was about half marijuana growing books.

Also, we have a Whole Foods store now.  While it’s kinda neat & the produce section is nice, I can see why they call it “Whole Paycheck”.  Jesus.  I think I’ll mostly stick with Trader Joe’s.

I did finally find some Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap there, though.  Happy.

One of the good things about living in Reno is that when you don’t feel like cooking  and you really can’t decide on what type of food you have a hankerin’ for, you can just pop into a casino buffet and find something that looks tasty.
So… we went to the Atlantis buffet tonight. It was yummy as usual.

Rick was getting some Mexican food and he noticed a lady at the Seven Seas Soup station. Caldo de Siete Mares is a seafood soup and Atlantis makes it with crab legs.  I’m sure it’s really tasty for people who are NOT allergic to shrimp.

Anyway, this lady was going through the soup and only picking the crab legs out. Only the crab legs. With the tamales tongs.
Then she decided to tell the line worker that they needed to put more crab legs in the soup.

“GAWD DAMMIT I GONNA GET ME SOME CRAB LEGS EVEN IF THEY DON’T HAVE THE SEAFOOD BUFFET TONIGHT!  I DUN PAID SISTEENNINNEYNINE FOR THIS DAMN FOOD!”

I love ‘murka.

It was great.

I liked it better than Iron Man, but I hate Iron Man, so take that as you will.

That movie was so damn packed with easter eggs it wasn’t funny.

Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno cameos.
The “don’t make me angry” joke.
The plaid shirt and purple stretch pants.
Jack McGee.
Etc.
Oh, and Stan Lee’s part in this is better than in Iron Man.

Norton was awesome.  The Hulk was awesome.  The fight scenes were COMPLETELY awesome.

Loved it.

The skirt annoyed me a bit and the Hulk always seemed to change size to be a bit smaller when he was with her, but that was about it.

GO SEE IT!

We have tickets to the 12:01 AM showing for Hulk!

I should take a nap.
