My kitchen
Posted in Personal Updates on August 30th, 2008Damn, that’s a sweet looking kitchen!

Oh, and just for fun:

They still need to clean the place up, etc, but we should be moving in this coming week!
YAY!

YAY!
Okay, so I was informed that the people who read my feed/blog on the LJ (or elsewhere) might appreciate the same update I posted for the folks who only read the myspace.
Fair enough.
BUT – since this is my OFFICIAL BLOG, I’ll expand on it a bit… you know, new content brings the boys to the yard and all.
I HAVE A NEW NIECE!
Yes, that means my brother has now spawned FOUR children. I think he’s made up for my sister and I not breeding now.
We close on the house in about 2 weeks. They still haven’t put in the countertops or hardwood, but we have walls, cabinets, fucking awesome tile and a nice little fenced yard now. And a concrete slab patio that I will be doing a nifty concrete stain on. I’m thinking the amber/orange-y “Starbucks floor” color. Packing sucks.
After somewhat over a year of hard work I don’t have to shop at fat stores anymore.
Still pretty fat though – more hard work pending.
Galen is a shithead.
A shithead with a crewcut.
Motherfucker joined the army. Yes. Galen. Army. Does not compute.
My work rules. Recently did a big campaign for a major casino in Vegas. My seester sent me some of the magazines with my stuff in them. Might post those eventually. Doing a LOT of stuff for a smaller branch of the famous Vegas casino and the marketing manager is really cool and basically lets me go crazy. Nothing else REALLY cool – had a nice collateral campaign for a local hoity toity condo complex that was fun, but just general blah blah blah design otherwise.
I’m going to make a whole “portfolio” of HDR photos just to see if Haley’s reading this blog.
My parrots rule.
Busey wants to do what Kirby’s doing and Kirby wants what Busey has. They’re both flying again and I’m gonna hate to clip them, but I think it will be best with moving into the new place and all. I figure I’ll traumatize them all at once & take them to the vet for a checkup/clip while Rick moves the cages to the new place. Then they’ll come home to their new bedroom. LOL. My birds will have their own bedroom.
I stimulated the economy with a Mossberg 500 Cruiser. It makes THE SOUND. The wonderful “I have a shotgun – back off, motherfucker” sound. I plan to further stimulate the economy with a Baby Eagle 9 sometime after we move.
I can’t think of anything else.
Oh hay:

There’s something to be said for telling the truth:
Dolores Aguilar
1929 – Aug. 7, 2008Dolores Aguilar, born in 1929 in New Mexico, left us on August 7, 2008. She will be met in the afterlife by her husband, Raymond, her son, Paul Jr., and daughter, Ruby.
She is survived by her daughters Marietta, Mitzi, Stella, Beatrice, Virginia and Ramona, and son Billy; grandchildren, Donnelle, Joe, Mitzie, Maria, Mario, Marty, Tynette, Tania, Leta, Alexandria, Tommy, Billy, Mathew, Raymond, Kenny, Javier, Lisa, Ashlie and Michael; great-grandchildren, Brendan, Joseph, Karissa, Jacob, Delaney, Shawn, Cienna, Bailey, Christian, Andre Jr., Andrea, Keith, Saeed, Nujaymah, Salma, Merissa, Emily, Jayci, Isabella, Samantha and Emily. I apologize if I missed anyone.
Dolores had no hobbies, made no contribution to society and rarely shared a kind word or deed in her life. I speak for the majority of her family when I say her presence will not be missed by many, very few tears will be shed and there will be no lamenting over her passing.
Her family will remember Dolores and amongst ourselves we will remember her in our own way, which were mostly sad and troubling times throughout the years. We may have some fond memories of her and perhaps we will think of those times too. But I truly believe at the end of the day ALL of us will really only miss what we never had, a good and kind mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I hope she is finally at peace with herself. As for the rest of us left behind, I hope this is the beginning of a time of healing and learning to be a family again.
There will be no service, no prayers and no closure for the family she spent a lifetime tearing apart. We cannot come together in the end to see to it that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren can say their goodbyes. So I say here for all of us, GOOD BYE, MOM.
This reminded me of Brad, Winnie and Rawb:
